Prices Rose Slightly on January 13 [SMM Daily Review]

The opening price of spot silver today was $30.434/oz. The SMM 1# silver ex-factory reference average price in the morning was 7,770 yuan/kg, up 13 yuan/kg from last Friday, an increase of 0.2%. According to SMM, the spot-futures price spread fluctuated significantly this morning, and market quotations and transactions were relatively chaotic. Overall, low-priced goods were popular and sold quickly, while high-priced goods faced greater difficulty in sales. Enterprises that have not yet ceased operations still have stockpiling and purchasing as needed, but some industry enterprises have already gone on holiday and have no stockpiling demand.
